The Venue

The 2019 Annual Student Art and Design Exhibition took place from April 25 through May 9, 2019 in the galleries of Schmidt Art Center at the Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) Belleville Campus,

 

 

 

 

 

The Call for Entry

The participants are Southwestern Illinois College art students; it’s not clear if this was a juried exhibit.

Looks like celadon glazed pieces assembled and fused during glaze firing, and the affixed to a wood backing.

Really neat piece; many pieces of curved clay create a flowing, almost wind-blown feel.  I couldn’t find a dedicated web site for her.
