The Venue
The “2020 Open Theme Annual” multimedia exhibit took place in the gallery of Webster Arts from January 21 through February 28, 2020.
The Webster Arts offices and the gallery is on the first floor of this building. The entrance is just to the right to that tall white flag.
This is the gallery space viewed from the entry point.
The Call for Entry
The call for entry read: “Webster Arts invites art submissions for our Open Theme Annual 2020 artists are encouraged submit 2D & 3D work on any theme. Send us your best work! No floor or ceiling hung installations are possible at this time. No video.”
The Ceramic Art Pieces
There was only one ceramic piece in the exhibit.

Her statement for this exhibit read:”Expanding despite constraint, past expectation result in tension. The artwork illustrates the desire to move forward and continue to progress toward greater equity.”
