This Tour started out with a preview night to be followed by the actual show on the following weekend. This was an unusual event in that on the main weekend there were several locations to see the works of over 50 artists. The locations were around Alton, IL, and Wood River, IL. The main show(s) took place on May 5 and 6, 2018.
The Call for Entry
There was no regular call for entry; the tour was advertised, and you had to send in the images of three art pieces to Barry Clayton, the organizer, and you were notified upon acceptance. I don’t know if anyone was turned away.
The Ceramic Art Pieces at the Preview Night
The preview night was held in the Old Bakery Brewery in Alton, Illinois. Each artist contributed one art piece.

The Ceramic Art Pieces at My Setup
This is the home of my host, Gene Urshprung. He very generously allowed me to set up in the garage, instead of putting up a tent in the front yard.
I had two tables in an L shape. Also, I set up panels on the left for my wall pieces.
Here is one table with the new starfish candle holders on the left, and older platters and tiles in the middle and to the right.
On the panels I had several “Broken Shark” pieces.
At the other table I had the new “Feeding Frenzy” bowl to the right, and older pieces in the middle and to the left.
